Great day to start the season. In no particular order :
1. Shepherds Bush CC are a great fit with KCC and keen to repeat next year. Once again well done Tim!
2. First home game organised relatively glitch free.
3. Sunil and San just enjoying the game without a million things to do. Well almost – San did bring the match ball and the all important bottle opener that saves us some embarrassment.
4. Bernard’s hard work for the last few weeks on Play cricket leading to KCC’s first digital scorecard. At one point someone asked San about the score and he didn’t know and was relaxed about it!
5. Great to have Rhino back.
6. Shanto winning MoM on debut. Excellent new addition thanks to Saikat!
7. Wonderful to see Matt Marshall and Jamie.
8. Everyone bowled except the keeper. And the keeper for today was actually a bowler who volunteered to salvage a dire situation …. Well done Tabby. Also great to see Chris bowling so well. Our search for a young Sunil is over! Also excellent bowling by both Sids and Shanto. And as usual, Eddy’s 4th over was perfect.

Also everyone batted. Which could have been avoided!
