KCC won the toss and elected to bat on this most batsman-friendly of grounds; however, after a slow start, wickets fell regularly to the accurate pace of Stubbs and a range of ambitious strokes.  KCC’s innings was rescued from 119/6 by an unbeaten 50 fromGabriel Thomas, but 198 was never likely to be a challenging total on this small ground, particularly given Kensington’s bowling attack had to take the field after gorging on cakes and sandwiches.  Frensham won comfortably by 6 wickets.
